Odd nerdrum gets two years in prison!
My favorite living painter was just sentenced to two years in prison..He is a saint not a criminal…we should throw the modern trash heap in jail and not the only living thing next to Rembrandt!!!

Ok… They claim that in the period from 1998 to 2002, he has sold paintings for 14 million NoK (approx 3 million $) that He has not reported as income. This has been an ongoing case for a while, and now it ended in court. He had a bank box in austria where he deposited a lot of cash (about 900.000 $). They claim that He has done a lot to hide his income that he got from selling paintings. He – on the other hand says that He kept the money there as a security to pay collectors that had complained about paintings They had bought and the paint melted when it became warm and the painings were ruined (He had a problem with his paint mix for a while and many og his works Are ruined). He also claims that he has no idea about numbers, and He couldnt be an artist if He had to know all about numbers and taxes 
He says that He has paid taxes to iceland, which were supposed to paid to norway. So He claims to be not guilty. Today He was convicted to two years of prison! And probably about 2 mill $ in tax fines.

Working on book cover of Westchester County will document the process…Then I start a 4 x 6 canvas commission which I will also document..The large commission is a copy of the painting on this website (the Cow skull) One thing I dont like about art is the prep work side but I have learned how important doing the right prep is….

Burying a parent is something so surreal and hard that I have no words to explain…Now, I will do my best to get my butt into gear and work again..Feel like mike tyson hit me in the head with a toyota. Havent even been able to eat or paint….I am a fighter so I will get back in the ring now. I look like ten miles of bad texas road but I will now shave and shower be the rock star champion that gardega once was and quit crying like a little girl…man up or go home…

I am off to a funeral…when I get back alex is going into full blown art mode…show in dec..etc back on horse like a true cowboy…been a useless artist for a week…I have things in me to paint I have never had, can I get them on canvas? I will find out.
